Alidade does not represent clients before the IRS
Alidade does not represent clients before the IRS. This template is a working document you complete on your own or with Alidade's administrative support. When representation is required, we route you to a credentialed partner; their engagement, pricing, and retainer happen with you, separately.

An explainer for each notice we plan to expand into.

One explainer per notice code. Each one sits between the notice in your hand and the intake — plain-language meaning, the documents the notice implies, the realistic response window, and where self-service stops and a credentialed partner starts. The first one (CP 501) is live today; more are shipping in the same shape — live entries carry an “Explainer live” badge.

Why explainer-first

  • Each explainer is matched to the intake’s notice code — CP 501 in the intake pre-loads an Action Plan built from this same vocabulary.
  • The referral-tier labels match the Action Plan’s referral flag byte-for-byte, so the editor and the explainer read identically.
  • Calm voice, no urgency, no fear — the same tone as the home and the FAQ.

Not sure which one

Start the intake — we read it from the notice code.

The intake’s first field is the notice type. Whatever code you enter, the Action Plan template pre-loads from that code’s vocabulary — the same five documents the matching explainer lists, the same referral flag, and the same deadline math. Five fields, no account, no retainer, no commitment.
